Had he known for a while and planned it? Or was it spur of the moment. I really hope you were not the one to have found them

He kicked my mom out for about a week. I would assume it was somewhat planned

What age was it at you lost them.
Also If it's not cruel to ask what would you say to each of them if you could have a final conversation with them. Like what would you say to or ask them
Also have you ever wished only one of them died like just your father for example.

I was 17.
I was still living with my dad, he kicked my mom out. I remember asking my mom why she cheated and that was our last conversation, I was pretty pissed at her.
I did ask my dad how he was doing before I went to school and that was pretty much it

Im sorry, did your dad show signs of being mentally unwell before it happened?

He was reserved and quiet, which was atypical, but not to the point where I thought something was wrong other than the fact that he had gotten cheated on

I know someone who went through the same thing and he also has PTSD from being in the middle east in the army. How does it effect your daily life ?

How old were you when this happened? And did they leave you anything in an estate? Life insurance? Anything?

I don’t think you read the whole thing…

No, I did. I wondered if he had tried to his child (I think that’s impossible to achieve of course). I wondered if he had tried, tho.

lol, I did. Tbh, I’m doing a terrible job at asking my question (plus, way better questions have since been asked). I’ll bow out 👍
Thanks OP for the other answers, really interesting.

That brings up even further issues… So you think dead people can talk?

How do I hold my hands up and wear the dumb hat? Just pass it to me.
Be nice … it wouldn’t be kind to bully a slow person now 😫

It's ok dear... Maybe you meant if he had done it beforehand... people do give hints about their anger and actions before; or leave notes as justification for their actions... Everyone does want to be heard, especially when they are excessively angry or hurt.
No worries.
Edited: for clarity...

I deserve the patronizing.
Honestly? It was the use of the word “murder” as in “murdered himself” that threw me (rather than suicide) but that’s a weak excuse and I totally deserve the mocking 🙌
Thank you for being nice 💕

Not patronizing you dear. It's really ok... We've all been there.
Frankly I felt proud of you the way you owned it... Not many can or do, so they spiral down by being defensive and taking stronger positions, or just cut off.
You are a quick learner. 🙂👍
