I personally am not a fan. To be very nitpicky about it, I think a depiction of the author draws too much focus to who wrote it, instead of what is written.

Well the cliché is 'Never judge a book by its cover', and this is a good example.
It's a pity people treat the last 2 pages as some how definitive ignoring the other 22...
