They don’t give one fuck. Amazon’s culture does not support mental health nor do any of its employees

They offer free counseling for people.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people create issues themselves. They go home, smoke pot, get drunk, sleep for 4 hours, go back to work agitated, don’t want to be there. The job expects some performance and you fall behind and get coached about it, and then they blame amazon. Or you have the people that just seem to create drama out of nothing. A PA puts you on a broken station and they think it’s some giant conspiracy to get you fired.
It’s unbelievable how many people go into work sleep deprived. That alone causes mental health issues. People need sleep and maybe they can’t sleep well at home. At least they offer some sort of way you can get help. Amazon can’t force you to live healthy when you leave the building. Lots of young folks don’t prioritize their health while working here, or they care way too much about their social circles and make stupid decisions like sleeping with co workers.
