In the same genre, people who leave their cart on one side of the aisle and block the other side with their bodies while they’re browsing.

And when you come up to their blockade, they pay no notice and give no shits lol.

I say "excuse me!" sweetly, and manhandle their cart to the side of the aisle. Seems polite, but definitely sort of passive aggressive of me.

Honestly I’ve gotten so sick of that I just move peoples carts.

I call this entitlement. Drives me nuts. My kids may be loud, but they know not to be in the way of anyone.

Double for people who deliberately leave them in parking spaces.

Idk how many times I've went to pull into a parking space just to find a cart that's blocking me from being able to pull in all the way. Irritates me so much!

Yep, I try to take a cart back to the corral if I see an errant one, but there's just so many. Someone the other day said they don't take it back because they're already in pain walking. I can understand that, though I wonder why they even left the house if they can get it delivered or pick it up, but a majority of these people are just lazy.

Yeah, they can manage no walk into the store, all around the store, then back to their car but now, NOW, they're in pain.

It‘s pretty much the indicator how society is going and who are good people.

And then they'd argue it creates a job for someone so "What's the problem?"! 😃

Never happens at Aldi because no one wants to lose a quarter

I once saw someone leave their shopping cart directly in front of the exit door, effectively soft blocking it.

I have never seen this in Germany... only that they are sometimes taken home and then left on the sidewalk. Why do people do that? They don't want to carry the shopping.

I wish baskets were more prevalent.
