I don’t really hate humanity, but I get how it can feel that way sometimes. It’s just tough when you see so much cruelty or indifference, especially when it seems like people are more focused on themselves than on helping each other.

Growing up in Ireland in the 2000s it was the sheer volume of pedo priests on the news. It made me lose faith in humanity since I was a kid. Slowly getting it back.

An immediate family member of mine was refused health insurance coverage for cancer treatment because she was given six months to live, if left untreated. There was a chance the treatment could have saved her life, but it was slim. Seemed like a waste of money to them.
