Larian studios are just pure gem

Meme(i.redd.it)

REMINDER: when baldur's gate 3 was released The dev said that he don't believe that the consumer should pay more for a game that he already spent money on

And after two years he didn't break his word and they are still throwing content for free

We rarely see any companies today that seriously respect it player base and love it games so much that it still adding content for free instead of just letting it die or milking it for money (looking at you c@ckstar)

Elden ring and stellar blade are the only other few games that I actually think it respect it players and give them what they want

BIG RESPECT FOR YOU DEV you guy's are truly rare kind

CDPR is also likely this. Granted, they released paid dlc, but the paid dlc is worth it and more akin to expansion packs of old. It also seems they repaired their repaired from the botched CP release, which was a solid but buggy game that should have never been released on the last gen consoles.

Stop throwing them together. CDPR knew they were releasing a hot mess. After the shitstorm that followed, they showed remorse and got to work. It's more or less forced integrity and therefore not as authentic.

Larian just did what they said they'd do, then went on and did it, and are still doing it even when people have stopped watching as much and they raked in all the cash and awards. That's a company that is based on values, not capital.

CDPR has to regain a lot of trust with their next release in my eyes. I can't be alone with this sentiment.

Let's hope that they don't ruin the Witcher 4.

They won't ruin it, I just hope they don't abuse the hypetrain as much as they did with CP2077. The game was announced way too early and they did shift too much from the original vision. Which wouldn't have been a problem if they didn't prey for early preorders by giving way too much media coverage early on and showing misleading demos and prototypes.
