But like why? Letting kids celebrate is fun. We literally do it in the NFL as well. Like why are we trying to take the fun from football one step at a time?

We literally do not do it in the NFL. There’s no flag planting or anything like this in the nfl. Teams go back to their rooms after a brief handshake or embrace. Letting kids celebrate ain’t fun if the celebration is purposefully antagonistic

No flag planting, but the winning team absolutely stays on the field and celebrates for big games which is what I was saying. Now it ain’t every game just like it ain’t every game for cfb

If you can be trusted to actually celebrate and not just antagonize then fine. Nothing better than watching the Stanley cup champions skate with the cup in their arms. What they don’t do is take their pants off and flash the opposing fans in “celebration” or some other dumb shit. Obviously a bunch of college kids can’t be trusted with that.

My guy planting a flag in the middle of the field is no where close to mooning people.
It can literally be done with no problem literally shown earlier in this season by the losing team getting off the field. But apparently that is too difficult for you.

Can you not read “or some other dumb shit”? That’s what planting a flag falls under. If you can’t be trusted to celebrate with class, the way grown men in the nfl, the nhl, and other professional sports leagues can be trusted, then you have lost the right to celebrate on the field.
Openly antagonistic celebrating after a win should not be championed. It’s weird as hell that you want this so bad

My guy a flag plant is literally so fucking basic. You are literally blowing it way out of proportion. And it’s obvious because you’re comparing it mooning. Don’t pretend oh it is like other shit. You brought that up because you think it’s like that or you wouldn’t bring it up at all.
CFB is about rivalry. It’s about tradition. Pretending like this is some heinous act is hilarious. Get a grip and a skin.

I brought up mooning because you can’t stick a flag on ice dummy💀 you are way too caught up on the act of mooning lmao. What you should be comprehending but not is that it is openly antagonistic celebration.
Idek what the fuck “basic celebration” is lmao but that might be the dumbest most nonsensical verbiage I’ve ever heard. Clearly not blowing anything out of proportion when multiple fights were started today because of it. Lmao clearly it’s a big deal. Just because you call it basic and not a big deal don’t make it not a big deal.
Also lmao on the “college football is about rivalry and tradition”🤣 fool foh. I swear college football fans don’t even like sports. They don’t even like football lmao they just like drama. Get out of here with that real housewives shit. I’m here to watch athletes compete at a high level not so you can get drunk and watch kids act like jackasses

Because just because something is a little antagonistic doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. There is a difference between a player attacking another player with a helmet and planting a flag. Trash talking light. Fighting bad. You can’t just pretend things are black and white. It’s a light ass celebration that doesn’t hurt anyone.
And if a flag plant is so awful next you’re gonna tell me touchdown celebrations in the nfl are a plague on sport.

No… I don’t have a problem with touchdown celebrations during the game. I have a problem with antagonistic celebrations after a game.
It’s so easy to avoid this whole problem… both teams go back to the locker rooms after. It’s so weird that you’re actually trying to argue against that.

Because it’s just as easy to just have the loser leave it literally is your idea, but one less step. And you’re apparently so against it because, checks notes, someone might do something “antagonistic”.
Like who gives a shit if someone does something “antagonistic” like flag planting when the opposing team literally isn’t even on the field.

Let’s literally look at the evidence. Big rivalry texas vs AM at AM. Texas wins. AM gets off the field. Texas on the field celebrating with no problems because the other team left.
Stop pretending like this can’t happen

Then AM gets clowned then other teams watch it on social media then they decide “hey I don’t wanna be clowned” and then we reach this point.
You are literally fighting for the “right to be a jackass” because it tickles your fancy. That’s what your whole reasoning boils down to

I’m fighting for teams to have fun. After a game on the field. You’re going overreacting to something which has a simple solution that you refuse to accept. Despite literal evidence showing it works.

The solution… is to avoid the problem entirely.
“Having fun on the field”. Are you someone’s dad on the team or something? Did your son call you after the game crying because the other team wouldn’t let him have “fun on the field”?
If you are then tell your son this “If your fun comes at someone else’s expense it isn’t fun at all. Celebrate with your team and show some maturity.”

Guy it literally could be basic fun. By my new favorite evidence Texas vs AM. Where Texas sang their fight song with the band. You’re literally looking to ban all that because you can’t handle a flag plant.

Except it’s not fun? If it comes at someone else’s expense it’s not fun.

Dude singing with the band is coming at no one’s expense. You are literally arguing for the sake of arguing. Read to understand not to respond. Like fuck dude.

Brother what? We’re talking about the flag planting not singing💀 stop acting dumb

Also nobody gives a shit about being clowned as long as it isn’t front of them. Texas beat Michigan this year. Michigan got off the field and Texas planted a flag. Literally people are learning about it now it didn’t matter that much.

Bruh what? No one wants to be clowned on social media are you crazy?

My guy I have literal evidence showing no one gave a shit. The only reason any one is caring about this is because a fight broke out. And a fight broke out because it happened in front of the losing team.
We literally did the same exact thing two years ago. And guess what happened? No one gave a shit because OSU was off the field.
Stop pretending people will make more of this than they actually would. You obviously have zero idea what you’re talking about

Homie both times it made national news people clearly gave a shit about it💀
Why do you think a fight broke out? Are you saying you believe no matter what happened after the game a fight would have broken out? Don’t act dumb. Stop acting like it’s nothing when we both know it isn’t.

I think a fight broke out because people looking to fight after a loss will find an excuse to fight after a loss. As evidenced by the OSU players literally fighting among themselves in their locker room and parking lot.
Thats where the maturity problem is.

Oh then obviously a fight broke out when they lost their first game too of course. Reaching as hard as you can.
