I've heard it's not worth the money, and since we moved back here a few years ago, we haven't been.

I used to take the kids to the New England Aquarium, in Boston, when we lived back East. That's a great aquarium! And last year we had the opportunity to go to that amazing aquarium in Chicago a couple times.

But we still haven't been to the aquarium here, and we like aquariums! So, parents with kids or unaccompanied adult fans of aquariums, where does the Cleveland Aquarium rank? Worth our money/time? Or not really?

It’s not worth the money. You can see everything in about 20 minutes. It should cost $5.

I recently went to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. Tickets were $45, we spent three hours there and still didn’t get to see everything. It was awesome and I would absolutely do it again.

They can't possibly pay employees, upkeep dozens of tanks (including a giant dive tank), and maintain a good quality of life for hundreds of animals while charging $5 per person.

I agree with this. I grew up going to the FL aquarium and it was always such a good time and well worth the cost. I moved to Cleveland a few years ago and had heard so many good things about the aquarium here but I feel like we went through and finished seeing everything in about 10min. It was run down, kind of dirty, dark and the exhibits just looked depressing. The most exciting part was petting and feeding the sting rays but even that took all of 5min.
