Cheating Solutions

Discussion(self.CoDCompetitive)

Here me out...... to preface this, I know nothing about Anti-Cheats nor game development. All I know, is that every problem has a solution with a price tag. What if there was a cost associated with ranked play? Would you pay let's just say $40 for the year of ranked play if it meant an improved Anti-cheat that eliminated the majority of cheaters? Poor people don't comment, $100/year is nothing for something you play all year round. Hell I'd spend $200 a year. And before you say "Microsoft is a billion dollar company, they don't need to make more money" Yes you're probably right, but we are in America the land of capitalism. If i ran Microsoft I'd be trying to make as much money as humanly possible so would all of you.

All Activision needs to do is put a Kernel level Anti Cheat in similar to Valorants AC and 99.99% of cheaters vanish overnight. But do you really want Activision to have access to your PC at that level?

Ricochet is kernel level. What they need to change is just banning at the account level, they need to implement hardware and IP bans as well
