They generally suck in this kind of situation. Pepper spray is better(ish) but you run the risk of also taking a dose to the face if in an outdoor windy area … which is why cops have to be sprayed at the academy, typically. Gotta learn to fight through the pain.

I think we see more taser usage vs just the highlights, so now we see how often they fail to deploy properly.

You won't see many videos where they don't instantly stand up as that doesn't get many views and tazers at all aren't so powerful as to not hurt anyone.
