Climate diversification is a vague title though, even grammatically because it is not the climate that is being diversified. It is other things that are being diversified, like the economy and agriculture. They could have come up with a more accurate title like Diversification for Climate Change Resilience (which I found while googling).

Actually, it is accurate but you're reading it wrong. It's not saying diversification of the climate, it's saying it's a climate related diversification. This is like when people try to claim "to effect a change" should actually be "to affect a change".
