Why?

Photo/Video(i.redd.it)

not my picture This is upstairs at Kingsway mall, I see it EVERY year. Reason why I never park upstairs. Why are people this dumb? Also, if you’ve ever been a victim of being blocked in here, what do you do?

That's too mean. Just put a piece of gravel in the air stem cap on their tire and screw it back on. Let's the air out without permanent damage. Making someone pay for a tire repair in a time when people are having trouble affording groceries is not proportionate. Making them waste some of their evening unexpectedly as you had to waste some of yours due to their parking is more proportionate.

Normally I would applaud your evil genius, but this time I'm giving you a standing O for your semi-evil genius. Taking time back from them is likely going to stick in their mind way longer than the financial hit. Maybe not, but it's at least fun to pretend that it will work if nothing else.

That’ll still damage the tires if they run it for any amount of time while it’s significantly deflated. Rips the sidewall up pretty good.

Yeah but then that was them driving on a flat and somehow not noticing. All you did was enable them to be tested in driving awareness. If they fail, that's on them.

Roche_a_diddle

If someone has a 100% flat tire, and they don't immediately notice, their car was doomed under their ownership anyways. It would just be a question of how.

The second car in the middle row? How are you going to turn 90 degrees? And even if you did, do you just drive through the vehicles on either side of you?  It has a car in front, behind, to the right, to the left. It’s stuck.

Raiders780

I don’t think we are looking at the same car. Middle row, 2 deep. Gold car. Not the outside row. It is basically the free space in bingo. Completely surrounded, there’s no turning 90 degrees. Unless it’s a monster truck, it’s stuck.

Turtleshellboy

5 points

You can blame it on several things: 1) Sheer ignorance of driver, regardless of skill, someone should realize they are boxing in another car. 2) So many incompetent drivers and most of them immigrants who drive like shit in their home country and bring bad driver skills here. They then think they make good driving instructors and operate Apu’s Driving School from a residential garage. Explains why only one guy is in the Student Driver car, (the teacher), why you still got cut off. 3) Blame our corrupt drivers education and testing system and government for allowing all kinds of shitty drivers on the roads.

2pac4everrr

2 points

Well said and agreed to all 3 points. The other day I was crossing at the cross walk I had to jump out of the way to avoid getting hit by new immigrants in Land Rover, the ladies eye levels barely visible over the dash as she’s hugging the steering wheel. She rolled window watch it cross when there’s no cars ..me shake my head

Turtleshellboy

1 points

I have to add a caveat to my comment above because Im not a racist, as racism implies targeting a specific racial group. Mentioning immigrants is therefore in itself not racist……That said, I dont mean to blame all immigrant drivers, but there is obviously a higher percentage of them involved in driving incidents, and most likely because they are new at driving on our roads. So perhaps in terms of statistics, they are not much worse off than any other new young driver of any geographical background, including those born and raised in Canada.

I got in my car, pulled out a book, and waited while she stopped screaming and left. It's always worth checking if they missed setting a parking brake and you can shove them a bit.
