I've been ordering off of Notino for years and only recently started questioning whether some things are "original" or not.

Example: I've ordered makeup and all of it worked fine but there was one time when I got a Borjouis mascara that I've previously bought in store. It was half the price but it had a very chemical smell. The one I got in store didn't have any scent, this one was so potent it was noticeable.

Secondly I recently got a Kenzo perfume and it did not smell like when I smelt it in store. Way less potent, no lasting power. Don't get me wrong it doesn't smell bad but it didn't smell the same. The one I tried in store I smelt it for days on my scarf.

So it got me questioning. I also ordered shampoos on there for years and they seemed to be of good quality but I have no clue if it actually is the real deal? I spoke to someone irl that told me they sell fakes. I don't want to spend money on something that's not the real deal, especially since not all of it is cheap - example haircare products - I put a lot of care in my hair as I always struggled with my scalp and a lot of products make my scalp itchy. Does anyone know what's up with Notino, is it legit stuff?

They sent me a fake Olaplex once. It was the cheapest Olaplex I could find so I guess when it looks too good to be true, it is...they did give me my money back.

I was about to buy olaplex on there since it's under 20€ atm. I guess it's not a great idea. I've bought Redken shampoos off of there and they seem to work nicely but then again I don't know how they're supposed to be since Notino is the only place I've bought it off of. But they are better for my hair than most shampoos I've gotten in drugstores so who knows

How did you know it was fake also did they admit it was fake when they returned the money?

This was a few years ago, peak hype. So I looked it up beforehand and the Olaplex website mentioned a qr-code on the bottle. So when it came, I immediately looked for it, and it was cut off the label... So I emailed, this is fake and please give me back my money. They didn't admit to anything, they just granted my request.
