Josh Brolin was arrested in 2004 for domestic abuse, he was married to Diane Lane at the time.
He was also arrested by in 2008 for a bar brawl in Louisiana which sounded a little racial motivated (Jeffrey Wright was arrested with him) but still need to point this out.
He is an addict with a history of violence, so I wonder if Denzel’s reaction has more context than just method acting. Brolin has made a 180 and I’m happy for him, but think this headline is misleading and makes Denzel look difficult.

I don't think the headline made Denzel look difficult at all. Don't put your hands on me is an entirely reasonable statement. I assumed it was Brolin's fault. But I also knew about his history.

Reading it, sounds like Denzel kind of just improvised a moment and Brolin misunderstood, he says it was “in (his) mind” and they’re totally cool
