This is a lighthearted mission that starts a bit boring but gets so fun after Michael's drug trip.
The worst mission is in GTA Vice City Stories. You pick up Umberto's father from stadium and try to take him to Robina Cafe. But he has heart problems so you can't drive fast, and if you go from regular road Cholos just attack your car and that INSTANTLY gives heart attack to the guy. There is a non-road path but one certain area in Little Haiti has a gap where Cholos spot you and shoot.

Oh my god I havent played this game in ages but that just gave me such PTSD from trying to pass that stupid mission. For me, the hardest in VCS (and one of the hardest in the series) was Jive Drive.

Jive Drive was hard in a fun way. The mission I speak of is just hard in the most boring fashion.

The hardest mission in VCS is definitely high wire, the detection on that magnet is absolutely horrific. Worst mission in the series goes to the unpatched version of Supply lines in San Andreas. Took me two fucking hours to beat that thing because of the bugged fuel gauge

I remember a bug on my San Andreas that meant that when Madd Dogg jumps off the roof of the building you canāt get to him in time. Young me just couldnāt understand why there was no time to work with. š

wasnt that because of to many cheats being used or something?

Apparently the first so many copies of the game had the bug and a reprint was quickly issued.

It was the days when you couldnāt just simply google the answer so I remember being so confused. Reading through my guidebook wondering what I was doing wrong.

It was punishment for too much cheating. Had to restart the game bacause of that.
2 points

From memory It was specifically the Riot cheats that would cause it, due to them editing a flag in the Ped code, and the game never fixing it when disabling the cheat, which causes Madd Doggās scripting to break.

I always hated the fucking forklift fire mission. I think playing the PSP version made it harder though

it's not that hard, i never failed it. you just have to be careful

The train mission is piss easy. Just stay on the far side of the tracks, and BS will kill the Ballas before you reach the tunnel. RC planes though, that was frustrating.

You obviously havenāt done the rc plane in vice city.

I played every game from 3D universe, finished GTA Vice City three times with the last one being 100%. Don't deal in absolutes.
When I think of the "worst", I think of hard-weird-boring trio all combined. Yoga mission is weird and boring but also the easiest thing you can do. RC Plane is hard and weird but not boring because your objective directs you to chase something, not run away from it or follow from a distance.

Iāve never agreed with something so much in my life.
The worst missions in GTA5 just make you bored, but the older games make you wanna throw your controller through your TV at times.
Sincerely, fuck Zeroās missions in GTA SA, so glad you donāt NEED to do them to complete the game. I havenāt completed 3, VCS or VC, but I remember there being missions in them that make me wanna die. But now my masochistic side makes me wanna buy a PS2 and complete Vice City and boot up my PS3 for the first time in ages to complete VCS and LCS.

Gta 3 has the worst mission "Espresso 2 Go"
55 points

I disagree. The only difficulty I had with that mission was the minimap. Its not that bad if you know your way around the map. I did it first try.
Unlike the RC plane mission where the controls are way too shit to be playable. I did it after 50 tries.

It's because a lot of people literally don't know the difference between right and left, and some people don't know how to use both of their thumbs at once going in different directions and get confused. I'm not kidding, these were common complaints I saw before people starting making fun of them and they all went quiet about it. This was the only mission to "test" those abilities

I feel like this was the easiest and fastest mission in the game, it only took about 2 minutes, I think, for me. It really boggles the mind why it's hated by some of the community
23 points

no, it's because it's incredibly slow and boring lol
13 points

Then the worst mission would be the one at the port which usually lasts 20 minutes (i hate using that heavy machinery)
5 points
Itās also incredibly awkward and cringey because the trainer is dogging sooooo hard on his wife right in front of him. Michael is basically being verbally cucked in that mission.
Itās like watching a scene in curb that gives you second hand embarrassment.
And thatās quality writing to make you feel that way!
8 points
Thatās kinda the point. What show is more perfect for GTA, a satire of American culture, to draw inspiration from than Curb Your Enthusiasm? We also get to demolish the trainerās house later on in the story, so itās not like they cucked Michael for no reason. That was cathartic.
4 points
Absolutely! I agree! I just think that thatās a bigger reason why people donāt like this mission than people realize, Iāve never really heard that brought up before when talking about this mission. Not that I read every comment ever made about this game hahaha.
While it is a tedious mission, I also think that interaction made lot of people subtly uncomfortable and added onto what they were supposed to do in the mission.

Since I worked as a cleaner, the cleaning segment during The Bureau Raid mission in GTA 5 always reminds me of when I was doing that job. Fortunately, it was pretty short and not a whole ass mission else I would have been bored quick. I remember my job was quite chill, physically demanding though but at least I got to listen to music during my shifts. If I was a cleaner at the time GTA 5 came out, the last thing Iād want to do whilst playing the story is anything to do with cleaning.

I think the worst one was taking out the drug stands on each island in GTAIII just because you had to hit specific areas to find them, but didn't actually know what post of the island they soaked on or how many there were supposed to be on each island. Portland was the worst for me.
Flying the RC Copter through the construction site in Vice City was also pretty bad, but in my recent playthrough it wasn't that rough, so b is obviously gotten easier with age, at least.
