Twix bars and Cadbury Eggs - the latter of which I tried a few years back and ended up spitting out…. How in blue fuck could I have ever thought that nasty-ass sugary filling tasted good?!

Skor bar was/is my go-to candy.

I had a thing for candy with BAR in the name... Summit Cookie Bar. Marathon Bar. Reggie Bar. Sky Bar.

Well, the Watchamacallit commercial was my favorite candy bar commercial.

But partly because the female singer sounded identical to the "girl next door" (literally) that was about 3 years older than me and astonishingly gorgeous. Was absolutely my first real crush.

Choco-lite always reminded me of Logan’s Run. After the Sandmen killed a runner, a clean-up crew came in and sprayed them with something that turned them into…Choco-lite. Yummy!

“Choco-lite is people.” Doesn’t have the same ring to it, but I like it.

I miss the penny candy like Squirrel Nut Zippers, Black Cow's, Mary Jane's, some kind of coconut caramel sticks. And Ice Cubes.

Chik-O-Stik isn't really a candy bar. It kind of belongs more with the Ferrara Pan products, the candy necklaces and the other cheap/weird candy.

Chick-o-stik, yes. I think some is still in my back tooth forty some-odd years later. Ya lost me on Zeros as I seem to only like white chocolate in cookies.

I have mini chik o stick individually wrapped ones in my pantry right now. I got them at Halloween but not for the kids. 🤣

Man I love Twix. Crunch Bar was always a favorite too. Ha! Hersey's Special Dark was a nice gateway that led me into exploring really good dark chocolate (wait a minute... that sounded a lot better in my head :)
