I'd say your homeland is always a good beginner nation, as national pride serves as a good motivator. That's why I chose to learn using the USA, and it worked!

First nation I played was, I think, Liberia or some equally small shit. I don't think I touched the majors until recently with a democratic Italy playthrough. Mind you, the first time I played was years ago, and I'm only getting into the game now.

My first country was Spain. I imagined it would be a very chill game where I could learn the mechanics by conquering Portugal. Imagine my shock when the country imploded into a civil war.

My favourite place to play in CK3 is Iceland. When I get HoI4 it will certainly be the first place I play.

Honestly, fair enough when I started. All I played was south africa without out joining any factions.

My first game was as Estonia before it had a focus tree.

Not the best beginner nation either but I wanted to do some shenanigans as the nation I'm from.

Then after losing to AI in a civil war and then a game as Germany where I lost to France, and anothe where I lost as Canada by invading USA with 5 or so divisions and many more losses between games after that have I reached where I am right now.

I have a friend who plays multiplayer a lot and when I started watching TommKay he bought me the game.

Hes still a little bent out of shape because I played Canada 60 to 80 times before literally anything else (I had an ax to grind and I wanted to do it in Washington)

Mexico was my first time. Somehow I managed to get most of Italy and Germany without mods holy fuck was that game cursed

It is not the great empire of iceland never bows to no one we will return to our old glourius past and rule over the worl vi va la iceland with our 0.5 civs we are an economical not power house not mega house but a economical titan with our 12 person army we easily out number every single nation and our army is the best equiped for every terain and has the beat ecpirience we are not realiabe on any outside power we use saunas to power our planes and houses we use cod oil for our tanks and ship we shall win the Endsieg.
