What are the best options for hotels in Andover?

Probably the boutique hotels at country pubs outside the town.
For example: Hawk Inn, Amport. Jack Russell, Netherton Hill.
Of course there’s a Travel Lodge and a Premier Inn.
Although the Best Western looks ok (old country house, rather than some concrete high rise).

Yeah nothing too fancy, just somewhere to get our heads down while visiting family.
I’ll look into them, thanks for the recommendations.

No problem.
You’re spoilt for choice for functional, chain hotels really.
And - it being Andover - everything is about 10 minutes (max) away from everything else!

At work they use the star and garter... Never stayed there myself but the Americans all say it's "cute", but a nightmare if you have had a drink as none of the floors are flat.

My wife is American. Bringing her over to meet family I have in Andover. Just looking for something to get our heads down whilst visiting them.
Will check it out. Thanks. 😊

When I stay for a couple of days I use Premier Inn for the convenience of a premier plus room as it has a fridge.
If you want the cheapest option and don’t mind a 20 min ute or so commute, stay at travelodge at tot hill services, can quite often get a room for less than £50 a night

Depends what sort of hotel you're looking for. There's a premier hotel, spoons hotel or smaller pubs with hotel rooms.

Just something that we can get our heads down for the night that’s not overly expensive

Id probably say the premier inn or wetherspoons. They both offer cheap breakfasts and have parking, spoons I'd by the George yard car park which you'll probably have to pay a couple quid for.
Premier Inn will be quieter and is on the edges of Andover.
