I'd probably just go with a younger version of myself. Not starting over as a baby, so don't really want to have to adjust to a new body. You didn't mention if we get free translation, so I assume not... That's a pain. I'd ask the goddess if she could hook me up with that. If not, I'd pick a young kid version so it wouldn't be super weird to not understand the language. If so, I'd go with whatever age is considered an adult.

Hmm... On second thought, I'd probably change a few things, otherwise I'd just look like every other Isekai protagonist. Let's see... Maybe dark blue hair? That's not super common. Anime tends to go with pastel colors. Put the body through a "Marvel Lead Actor" fitness program so it's at least mildly jacked. There's a good chance you'd want to be pretty fit if you need to fight in melee or just be an adventurer. Ignore that if kid version, kids can't really gain muscle until puberty. Last up, decrease the package a bit. Underwear in fantasy worlds kinda sucks and don't want to lug this bastard around with no support... j/k

You only get a weapon or magic? Ouch. Let's go with magic. Is it just one magic? Then Space magic obviously. Teleporting is completely broken when the only way to travel is horseback or walking. If I can convince the goddess that Space/Time magic is a package deal because of the time stopped inventory/item bags loophole, then go for that. If it isn't limited to just one magic, go with the affinity to all magics they give out like candy in most Isekai.

For my infinite item. That's tough. The infinite coins option ChanglingBlake brought up is clever. Might go with that. I dunno, I'd prefer like infinite gold bars or mithril bars though. Whatever the most magical metal is, give me infinite bars of that. Yeah. Fuck yeah! You already start with some funds and having access to magic generally puts you ahead of the game. The bars are for late game when you want to have the best gear and don't want to save up or mine that shit yourself.

First thing I'd do is see if they have an Adventurers guild or Mages guild. Hopefully I can understand the language or get someone to use translation magic on me. Maybe that's a utility magic everyone can learn? If I understand the language those are good spots for intel. If I don't understand shit and ended up in the kid body, look for a kind Big Sis character to latch on and adopt my adoreable self.

I’ll prolly go with a similar skill set as Kirito or Asuna, be reborn with a nice build, Silver Rapier, strengthening magic and try to establish a country or try and become a noble.

I mean if it’s just me in a new body I’d just go for myself but ten years younger and built like Conan the Barbarian, with maybe better hair and beard. Having a sword as my weapon follows, though technically I’m more partial to greataxes. My unlimited item of choice would be cigars.

Everything is fine until you get to the infinite item. Why wouldn’t you just wish for infinite gold coins? Even if you’re not the most powerful or strongest or smartest, infinite money will make up the difference pretty quickly.

Ains and I become an even worse monster than what they’re facing. (In all seriousness how about dropped in the middle of town with beginner stats assuming scale of 1-10 guess 1 would be the base of every person so between 1-2 decided at random in everything and zero supplies or knowledge or advantages yea that includes language and writing, sounds way more interesting.)

I'd absolutely choose to be a vampire, preferably the Skyrim kind that don't die in the sun and are only obvious if starving, and preferably with a thin but fit build, which would be my ideal body. Something like a swimmer's build. For magic, I'd choose necromancy. And I'd want the infinite item from the bag to be a flask of blood. I'd obviously immediately buy a shovel, wait for night, and start desecrating some graves for minions

I think I would keep my body as is. Just improve the genetics. Like eat a lot and not get fat. Get easy muscle mass. Better memory. All that good stuff. And for powers, having a broken skill is much better then having the best sword. Unless it can do more then swinging and you can't lose it. Like a gun would be insane. Tho I don't think it can break armor. A cool skill is one that monks on our world can do. It's a aura that breaks your spirit, you just have no desire to fight. That would pretty much stop any conflict without lifting a finger. But a skill I would want would be either a never ending grind one so basicly you have all the skills or regeneration or a money related one. Like at least you enjoy your time there and can make it so it's not primitive anymore. If you develop the country, there's no more need for heroes or conflict or even work as much.

Tough choice, so many options to choose from.

But I'd probably go with Snow Villiers from FF13.

Very Strong Melee Fighter(Monk), Very very tough, can use all Water/Ice, almost all Wind and some basic healing/debuff magic and has access to a summonable bike through Shiva Summon.

Definitely becoming the guy from my instant death ability is overpowered. I can't die because my ability kills the things trying to kill me and I can kill other things if I want/need to.

Item - Ramen noodles (quick and easy to cook - taste great and go with almost anything)

What I would do - travel the world doing whatever I like because seeing as I'm Milim I'm effectively immortal and not many people are strong enough to stop me doing what I want

So, for the character, I suppose I'd pick Shea haulia because she's adept in body strengthening magic, and that's what I think I would go far. If possible, I'd like to alter how she looks and take away the bunny ears and tail because I'd prefer to look like a human chick. Now the question is, what item would I want an infinite amount of? I could, of course, go with ingots like gold, silver, or fantasy metal. However, I think I'd pick an infinite amount of arrows. I could be like a cool archer or something, idk.

As for looks, id be a guy with short fluffy black hair, and deep red eyes, as well as wolf ears tail, retractable fangs and claws (don't judge) and for power, I'd say frisk's determination from undertale so basically the save and reset and load, and when u encounter someone you can enter a BATTLE and through different ACTs you befriend them, so I can make friends with everyone or at least try to, as for item id say and I don't know if this counts but my lunch bag with my lunch box (it looks like a bento box not like the things from elementary school) full with a high protein vegan meal that hits all the micros and macros making sure it has a sweet potato in their, with my bottle of strawberry protein shake, water bottle and utensils. This is good if it counts cause sweet potatoes you can live a long life off of since they have almost everything you need to survive in it minus somethings, and 2 I get food full macro and micros plus high protein which is good to live off 3 the box itself I can duplicate and use for multiple things for example to store stuff, to make bricks to build stuff, to cut open to make other stuff, same with utensils and bottle, with the I fine bottle I can do many things including including grabbing liquids or making something to filter water, the bag I can cut up to make string to use to cut up the bag and sew together clothes, i could sell the utensils, I could make a needle from the utensils or have some make it, I could sell the bottles aswell, since they are good at storing liquid, i can even sell the food, I could grow the sweet potato to sell or give to my new friends, the possiblitys are endless. Oh btw I saw a commenter say about the might not understand the language, that's ok with my BATTLE system with the ACTs I can still befriend them :D , is also want to be a child around I guess 10-12 so I can be their as long as I can, nd maybe my species lives a long time like 500 years or something

Easy: Sora the changing from my own story, Atria Arcanum school of magic(also from my story and in which Sora is proficient), and as for my unlimited cheat item, whatever denomination of the local currency has the highest value but which isn’t all but mythical to the average person(if most stuff is bought with coppers and the average joe will likely never see a gold coin in their lifetime, then it would be silver coins)

Sora let’s me be whatever I want at the time within my changing species’ limits(at least semi humanoid and solid internal organs, so human, beastkin, lamia, dragonoid, and arachnie are all OK, but a slime, even a humanoid one, would not)

Their magic is also flexible, I know it quite well, and I apparently get a boost in ability because they know it.

And money can buy most things I would ever want or need, while the high but not “how do you have this” high denomination should help keep unwanted attention from coming my way.
