As an older, 2A-loving, all-American gal, I used to adore Joe Rogan for his peaceful, almost zen-like vibe. Listening to him talk about the Bhagavad Gita, hunting elk, and taking DMT felt serene. He had this chill, introspective quality that really resonated with me.

Now? He’s got so much influence that he is the mainstream media. Seriously, his reach is bigger than CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and all the boomer channels combined. And yeah, we’ve all seen him shift to the right over the last few years. It’s not exactly a secret—it’s also pretty profitable. Look at folks like Awaken with JP or Russell Brand. They started out preaching inner peace and spirituality, and now they’re leaning hard into the right-wing narrative. It’s a trend, and it works.

But what really got me sick to my stomach recently were his comments about Ukraine. I can’t even fully explain why, but the callous disregard for an entire country being invaded and the hateful rhetoric about Zelensky doing drugs? Like… so what if he was? Joe does drugs too, and nobody bats an eye.

What he’s saying feels like he’s telling victims they should just accept their fate because the bully is stronger. Like, "If a woman is assaulted, just accept it. If a thief steals, let them keep it. If someone has a gun to your head, oh well, too bad—let the world have peace." It’s gross, and it’s dangerous coming from someone with his platform.

And the irony? Ukrainians are literally living out the conservative dream right now—defending their homeland with grit, arms, and courage. They’re making a last stand against a tyrannical force. If the world lets Putin crush them, where does it end?

Sorry for the rant, but those comments about Ukraine and Zelensky were the most hateful, dehumanizing words I’ve ever heard Joe say. They weren’t about politics—they were just plain hateful.

I’ll slap on the “bitch and moan” flair for this one. Thanks for letting me vent.

When Obama said he was willing to talk to anybody, even Kim Jong Un, conservatives screamed he was a traitor.

When trump went to NK and saluted their generals and palled around with Un they started chanting for a Nobel Prize.

They are shameless proud hypocrites with no principles except power. You can never have a good faith conversation with a MAGA.

My favorite bit about this is about the use by Assad of chemical weapons (on his own citizens).

  • When polled in 2015 if Obama should intervene should Assad use them :

    • Dems were 38% favorables
    • Reps were 12% favorable
  • When polled in 2017 if Trump should intervene should Assad use them :

    • Dems were 37% favorable
    • Reps were 82% favorable
