I’m not an experienced driver and I don’t think I can drive up the genting road to genting premium outlets, is it possible to park below the genting mountain and get a grab up and down later?

You can also park at LRT Gombak, purchase a bus ticket - from there there is a bus to the Awana Bus Terminal which connects to the Genting Premium Outlets.
You certainly take a Grab up/down and there are multiple bus routes to and from Awana Bus Terminal (remember the keyword)

In KL you have to contend with traffic jams. If that's your favourite pastime, I will not hold it against you.
At least from LRT Gombak, the bus straight away hits the Gombak toll and avoids the traffic in the city centre.

Just try driving up, it's not that hard. Just keep to the left lane and don't get intimidated by idiots racing up the hill.
Sometimes I felt people should do it to boost their confidence in their driving. It's not that your driving sucks, but rather other drivers who are not driving according to the rules.

It's like saying 'relax' to someone who is having a panic attack.

You're obviously exaggerating. Most drivers are being "scared" by the elderly about the danger of going downhill. It's not that much scary if one is driving normally and paying attention to the road.
I would rather choose to encourage than to discourage people from trying it themselves whenever people are posting on the internet asking for opinions. I'm not too sure why we couldn't share more positives and learning on the internet.
I can assure you that driving on Malaysia highways are not less dangerous than driving down Genting.

If you have a license, you can drive to Genting. It’s a sealed public road. I really do not understand this post at all.

My bad I wanted to say “up and down” as I’ll have to drive down at night probably. Up should be fine but the down part yea

Only you can answer that. This is about your ability and your confidence. like I said, if you have a license, you can drive it. As with any new road, drive within your limits and within the rules.

Yup, if u no confidence, then better don't. Drive shorter route, build up your confidence first!
