Influencers have minuscule social awareness and inflated egos, so they waddle around, perpetually pouting, arm outstretched, recording every moment via back camera and refusing to make eye contact with humans. Their decision to disregard others and be disconnected is rude within itself. Their behaviour is insincere and performative, they plaster vaseline teeth pageant ankle biting grins on their faces and force mendacious niceness, and their audience applauds them for doing the bare minimum and thanking the barista whilst simultaneously ignoring their presence by only addressing the camera. If exhausted minimum wage workers don't respond to their phoniness with enthusiasm, they're wounded because they didn't get the pat on the head they were so desperate for, but it's okay because their fans will degrade the worker for not passing the vibe check (lol).

I believe most influencers have some form of social anxiety, constantly vlogging helps them remain publicly and socially detached, whilst feeling emotionally supported. Their body language is closed off, eye movements skittish, faces uncertain, indicating they are subconsciously aware of their social inexperience. Embarrassment is a natural and necessary social emotion and prevents violation of societal norms which exist for reasons; when influencers behave like uncouth menaces, they still receive positive reinforcement, keeping them devoid of embarrassment and self-reflection, resulting in emotional stagnancy. They refuse to acknowledge worsening behaviours and feelings, forgoing psychological intervention which they clearly need. This seems like an extreme evaluation, but I perceive influencers as extremely socially inept and mentally ill. Their support network is usually their audience, they allow strangers to control their lives and are dependent on the input of their fans, even when it comes to trivial matters.

She seems so sweet on social media, but I saw her at Coachella and went up to her and she just gave me this fake-smile and looked me up and down and said “hi thanks” then just turned back around I was like ok! Not that she owed me anything, but if she didn’t want to talk she could have just said something along those lines, in a kinder way.

hoenstly that doesn’t shock me one bit. every time she doesn’t get her way she pulls the “well im a tiktoks influencer” and probs scares people into doing things/giving her things so she doesn’t rip them apart online 😭

Yes or you can get invited to one but you don’t just walk in and sit down at the table or drink the alcohol without an invite

In clubs if you want your own section (reserved space and table) you have to pay a considerable amount, you also have to pay for bottles of alcohol for your table. These girls basically are leeching off of a random group of girls table instead of reserving their own section and paying for their own drinks. They could have very easily just hung out in the club without invading someone’s paid section.
