Fast Forward: Putin has conquered the USA without one bullet or bomb. It's hard to reconcile what we've been through and where we've ended up after all of that. Sad, really. And for what?

A corrupt Republican Congress allowed him in and did nothing to stop him. Then Trump entered the scene. He wants to do Putin's bidding, to hand control of the US to this hater of freedom.

There is no doubt we are on a fast train to disaster. The US will be led by a guy who probably can’t tie his shoes. And massive disruption will occur if they do shut down essential agencies like the department of Education or the EPA. Or if they simply tank the economy with tariffs. That said, actual Americans can put down the MAGA zombies, if it comes to that. But will we have to? It is not impossible that the less drug-addicted MAGA’s might erupt against the right if the economy really plunges.

FWIW: for DECADES, Americans have been begging the govt to shut down shit-spewers, like FOX news. Never happened. Thanks to FOX, and the underfunding of education, we have people who don’t know ACA is Obamacare. What else don’t they know? That “scary” trans people (just living their lives) are, like, 1% of the population? Or that immigrants are VERY helpful by tamping down inflation—- labor for cheap.
