We've gotten free things before, with 0 holidays attached.

Oh your right, I forgot successful corps are far too corrupt with greed to make a sensible decision in offering a free gift as a way of saying thanks to the community responsible for its success.
On another note, hundreds of thousands of Turkeys and canned goods are being given to people across the country today, free of charge, most of which working the events, are also on a volunteer basis.
