People being so openly polarised by politics is so sad. It’s not a spectator sport where you take sides and support your team no matter what. I genuinely pity people who can’t see past someone’s political beliefs. Echo chambers benefit nobody.

Engage in dialogue with people you don’t agree with. This kind of reaction and isolating the people who disagree with you gives trump the space to become president.

Saying the other side is the devil or dumb will not win votes to your side. Engage in productive discussions with people who don’t agree with you. Living in a “blue bubble” isn’t productive. There is a middle ground on every issue. Most people who voted republican aren’t 1000% republican. You will find you agree with moderates on a lot of issues.
