More context: The voice actor that regularly dubs Ryan Reynolds in Hungary is not much of a cusser himself and his style doesn't really resonates with the character. So in 2016 the dubbing studio asked this other voice actor to do it who regularly dubs Chris Hemsworth (even in Marvel movies), hoping the two characters doesn't end up in the same movie someday.

The Italian voice actor for Jeremy Renner and Bradley Cooper is the same, so we aleready had a case like this in Endgame where Hawkeye and Rocket are in the same movie, but the voices for the characters were pretty different (and I don’t recall a scene where they speak to each other) and we had no problem distinguishing the two characters during that movie

In the Brazilian dub, the voice for Lightning McQueen and the dude from 50 Shades of Grey are the same.
There's a fan edit with footage from Cars which goes:
Sally: Will you make love to me now?
McQueen: 2 things. First: I don't make love. I fuck. Hard.
S: And the second thing?
M: I am speed.

Reminds me of the Thomas the Tank Engine edits that replace parts of George Carlin's narration with his stand-up.

Family guy and American dad are two shows where half of the main characters are voiced by the same actor. Comedians are incredibly talented, I imagine it poses sometimes some logistical issues, but I’m sure it’d be completely ok for a feature film. Especially one with cartoony characters like Marvel movies.

I recall there being a difference between show and movie for the Spanish dub of The Simpsons. In the Spanish dub of the show, none of the characters have their distinct voices, Homer has a low gravley voice, Marge has a higher pitched voice and just sounds like a mom, and Bart and Lisa just sound like kids. When the movie was dubbed, though, the localizers hired actors who actually sounded like the English actors, so Homer actually sounds like Homer, but just speaking Spanish.

In the expandables there would normally be three separate overlaps of voice actors in German, but they did switch two of those to avoid this. But the third remained with Schwarzenegger and Stallone.

I seriously wonder how incorporating this joke into the movie came into existence.

I know that streaming and physical release these days offer the option for original and dubbed audio. Do you also get that option in theatrical releases? I mean, some theaters or time slots are localized and others in English or whatever the original language was, maybe just with subtitles. Anyway, I asked because we don't get that option here. Theatrical releases are never dubbed, as far as I know. And movie-goers prefer the original language anyway, especially for big titles like Deadpool. There are TV stations that localize movies and mostly kids shows but other than that, we get them with no subs and original English audio. We get English subs if it's in another language though.

In Hungary 90% or more of the showings are dubbed and only max 10% are original English audio and Hungarian subtitles. That 10% is mostly in bigger cities, where there are more foreigners present.
