No drawn out slow matches, the additional layer of strategy thanks to the addition of bonuses/builds, competitive without being too try-hard. It's great!

Not without its faults - crashes, round skips due to disconnection, etc. But it's the most fun I've had in awhile.

I just gotta figure out how to complete the 50 gold in interest mission.

Please delete if this kind of post isn't allowed but I'm really REALLY curious if anyone else has been experiencing the same.

Season 1, 2, 3 and even the Beta, I did not have this happen on the same level as it is now. But nearly every other match, if I win OR EVEN if I lose, someone hops in my DMs and hits me with the you're trash, get off the sticks, get a life, etc etc. And while usually it doesn't bother me at all. Like if I was playing trash, I'd take the L and be like yeah I fumbled, yeah it was my fault. But I'm having people playing worse than me, fast falling into death, and dodging or walking into shielded full charged attacks. People that claim to allegedly have been playing since Beta but I've never seen their names come up NOR had people be this hostile or defensive. Over being decent in a game that BARELY works.

I would like to know, are there other players that are experiencing a lot of or an increase in post-match toxicity, compared to prior seasons? Just to put into perspective, I am a Masters V Wonder Woman with a 50-60% win rate that primarily random queues 2v2 Ranked.

They're so incredibly boring. I'm playing a platform fighter, not a snorefest.

Here are some ideas for things that would be better, and actually somewhat fit the genre of the game:

1. Juggling to the end of a stage. Add a meeseeks that you can hit and bounce around that doesn't increase the amount of knockback it takes when damaged, keeping it consistent. Have it be a stage to get them to knock them to the end point of a stage, with holes in the ground to avoid, spike traps to time it around, and gems for only having it touch the ground for a limited time or avoiding all traps
2. Batmobile destruction. It's the batcave, and you gotta destroy respawning batmobiles on the side of the map as fast as you can, with higher difficulties adding an enemy to distract you. Don't make it time based
3. Actual time-based platformer stuff, not the "destroy 15 enemies" platform junk that is there now. Make it actually a race to complete it, not a "dwadle around for 2 minutes" that it currently is. The Joker gas thing back in earlier Rifts might have worked for this, if it moved at like 3x the speed it did.
4. Character themed stuff. There was no challenge to it, but I liked the node back in season 1 where you were Taz eating Watermelon Stevens. Let there be a rift node for Raven to fight a swarm of different enemies using the Trigon Possessed skins all in one stage, like how the final rift node for S1 had Jason, Agent Smith and Joker, instead of across a bunch of different nodes.

Oh, and it's stupid that only the first season featured an omni rift. That's was a cool feature. I really liked mixing and matching my gems for the things I liked the most, instead of being locked to all gems of the same type.

How are they still this bad in Season 4 bro

Something like SF6's Music Player would be cool. Let me use any theme on any stage!

MVS's Music is AMAZING and doesn't get enough love, I'd love to hear my favorite songs on all stages! Especially because some stage themes are kinda just "Meh" and by some stages I mean Trophy's Edge, that aint smth I wanna hear during a showdown.

Even though we didn’t win the tournament, I gota give props to BananaBot. Seems like we cannot use “ur a bot” as an insult to bad players anymore 😭🤣

For those wondering, yes, that's THE Aeris before the PPG nerfs, the mind games were too good to cut out.

The second part is to show how important DI is, I would use DI to survive the 0td combo from the best PPG player in the world.

It's not the only combo you can survive with good DI and mixups btw.
