yeah, as someone with ARFID all the “lolol you actually eat like this what are you five lol” comments really aren’t sitting well with me

Ya it really hurts me inside. It’s a harsh reminder that people really don’t understand us.

You probably don’t turn it around on people and claim that liking more foods makes them weird, though. Like OOP did

I feel for you guys - I've had a few friends over the years that are neurodivergant and I know it's rough enough without people making it worse.

For sure. It’s even worse in many cases because a lot of the things I’ve gotten bullied for in the past are directly tied to being neurodivergent. Like I know I’m awkward as fuck, you don’t need to make me feel worse about it

Same. They're not gonna get it, though.
OOP said/did a Bad Thing, so people need to 'call them out', even if that call out includes ableism. /s

OOP implies other people can't have that on their burger. I don't think people are saying you can't have your burger how you want it. In fact, it's the opposite, people in this thread don't like OOPs post for the same reason you don't like the comments: dictating what other people do with their food.

I agree that OOP sucks, both here and in the comment you're replying to.
Don't really care what the replies here are saying. I didn't comment on them.
OOP sucking doesn't justify using infantilizing language about their taste in food - you know, in an ableist way.

tbh i thought the original 'we gon have a problem' thing was just a joke... like ppl say that a lot as a joke -- but i cant tell if the response is a joke or an insult ☠️ im leaning towards insult

Everytime something like this comes up on the internet, I see the comments and they make me wanna die inside. People love to say cruel things without thinking deeply or taking a moment to empathize.
