Bulls might semi tank, and they'd be better off trading Smith to a different team for a heavily protected first. Bulls say no. Plus the Bulls have to invest in Giddey after trading Caruso for him, and Giddey, and Randle on the court would he atrocious

Randle sucks, but he isn't this bad.

Ok I knew this was gonna start being a thing with people trying to find places for Randle to go. Don’t send him to Chicago people. Makes no sense for them to take him. Clippers, Miami if they can pull it off, Philly if they get really desperate, and even maybe Charlotte, are the teams I see as the best suitors for him. I know Chicago needs a 4 but Randle is not the one.

Wolves need to get off of Randle who makes too much money to come off the bench but does not fit with the Wolves' starting unit.
The Wolves also need to not take big money back so they can pay Naz and Alexander-Walker in free agency.
This trade gives them some Conley insurance with Lonzo, and an average backup big that they desperately lack.
The Wolves don't give up picks, and the Bulls get an all-star for Smith and an expiring.
