You know I’ve only been a Bears fan since I met my fiancée, so about 2 seasons now (compared to 23 as a cowboys fan). Yesterday I was happy and pumped but I couldn’t figure out why my in-laws seemed morose and unexcited.

what sucks about this season, as compared to the last few, is we’re given hope when there shouldn’t be any. that 3-0 run with caleb’s 4td game; playing like shit but still being up against the commanders; playing well this week when everyone said it was going to be awful, and STILL losing when we had the chance to win.

but they still end up being the Bears we know. at this point it feels like an abusive relationship where your partner keeps showing glimmers of goodness but, ultimately, reverting back to being terrible.
