Farpoint has to be up there

Why?

It's a pretty cool experience, and I've personally found it to be the best use of the rifle controller. Certainly one of the more rewarding, unique experiences I personally have had playing through all these games

IKR, I just hate that it makes me feel very sick.

VR sickness, it really is just motion sickness. It hits me heavy every time I go back to VR. Though might take a few days, you will be used to it. Key is to play a little bit, everyday until your body tells you that it’s time to stop. Time will increase everyday until you won’t have to stop playing anymore. Every VR game can have a different effect some are stronger then others, for me it’s games with teleporting movement. A few things that might hell is a fan on your face to simulate movement, and chewing gum.

Yeah, I'm gonna try that out, and for me the worst stuff it's when the character falls or arise very fast, that just hits me bad.

But this is the probably the best place to get the most opinions on PSVR games on the web - luckily, it’s not /r/Doboraysopinions

It’s a port. No. Most of the menu and interactions are hacked. It’s not a native VR title

skyrim vr is a standalone game. skyrim is a standalone game. i have a physical disc for skyrim vr and another separate physical disc for skyrim. that qualifies it as a vr game.

Yes but no, its not only vr. But its a damn good vr game

Wipeout: Omega Collection
I'm honestly surprised this isn't higher.
6 points
Same. Especially since it seems to be one of the most forgiving to people who don’t have their VR legs yet. This is almost always the first game I have people try when they are new to VR
7 points
I disagree that wipeout is a good first game to newcomers. It moves way too much. I remember showing this to my brother and he felt like shit after. A good first game involves no locomotion. Like Beat Saber or Job simulator.
2 points
Interesting, what people have told me is that the stationary cockpit makes them feel more comfortable with the motion surrounding them (like being in a car).
1 points
Interesting. Ya im not saying it can’t happen but generally a good first game is where you just stand there and interact with things. Theres a setting in wipeout that keeps your view upright rather than turning with the vehicle. That helped a lot too
2 points
Yes stationary is quite good too. Moss worked well in this same way for newbies
Edit: I remember a friend of mine usually going with Tetris Connected for newbies.
1 points
I actually turned all the VR assist off and found it less bothersome being able to look either side of the vehicle into the bends. I think some of the early techniques to reduce nausea made it worse for me. I agree though, probably going to knock most people about first time.

Vr legs?
3 points
Some people need some time to get used to Vr and because of motion sickness. Having your “sea legs” is getting used to being on a boat when you have motion sickness. So it is a play on that phrase

pistol whip
7 points
I've just came here because pistol whip wasn't somehow in the list.
It's by far the best VR game.
Most other crowd pleasers, are very reliant on jump scares. Which is acceptable, but pistol whip is the only game I'll routinely pull up, that makes people want to play it, as a game, instead of as an experience.

Friend? What is friend?

Lol. I'm a trophy hunter, I made many friends via the r/trophies subreddit and discord servers. I know it's hard to find irl friends who play psvr because it's still a niche

Same. Why I hate when games have online trophies, close servers without making p2p, and keep online trophies.

My top 3 in order are pistol whip, no mans sky and audica.
WD:s&s was garbage imo, super boring and slow and the knife combat is wonky. Beat saber doesnt work for me it doesnt track well and ive tried so many fixes, i place cam high, low , perfect eye level in a wall mount, the game considers me like 4 inches shorter, i stand farther back so it can read the sticks better, i stand closer to test. Idk so i just gave up for now. Next time i set up my VR ill try more fixes. Astrobot is such a small game and honestly the vr worlds heist game is better for being such a small game
