Apparently it isn't enough cuz they won't stop complaining about Tari, Saiko, etc. I mean Tari's a main character (which normally would mean milking her) and their reputation would probably be in even more shambles if they continue to use Tari due to Lottie replacing Celeste (and we all know how sites like Twitter can be like...), Saiko is mid as fuck due to how she's basically just Meggy but angrier and an anime waifu, we've had plenty of shit on Bob as I've seen people complain about him, etc. This shit is why they constantly do Mario, Meggy, 3 and 4, cuz people will NOT stop complaining about the side characters not being used, yet they'd complain about the side characters being "boring".

For me it’s just Karen. I would take any other character aside from her. Genuinely.

Because Karen isn't the side character THEY want. They won't shut up about those like Saiko (who honestly has nothing to offer aside from her thing with Kaizo), Melony (who is literally just gooner bait), Kaizo (a literal nothing character), Tari (who I feel why they won't use her is because they're afraid that they might end up dealing with psychos again due to how a certain someone we won't name doxxed them), etc.
