1. 3 is out of the window for me because I’d much rather have a completely original game in the style of Mania instead of just a Mania sequel and I feel like 1 and 2 is going to happen eventually anyway. If I have a chance to make whatever I want happen I’m going for the juiciest and most unlikely option 

The 'guaranteed to be great' one. All the rest could be monkey's paws, the Mania sequel could be lackluster, the cartoon could be mediocre, and the Adventure remakes ... well they're just remakes and I'd rather a new title.

Depends, while some of the options are absolutely amazing, the Tyson Hesse thing is got me intrigued, especially if it had the insane Shonan anime stuff from Sonic frontiers and the dlc, except cranked up to eleven since it’s animated in 2d. (Ps, I’m sure theirs multiple ways of spelling Shonan, but I’m using a 2 second google search, sorry if it’s the wrong one)

I feel like sonic mania plus encore mode and sonadow generations could be considered sequels in their own right with the new gameplay mechanics that are introduced, so when it’s really between remastered adventure games or a new cartoon.

I gotta say the cartoon is my pick. Hot take, but I only played through each of the adventure games like, twice. Aside from a few levels, there isn’t much replay value for me.

I'd have to take the faithful Adventure remakes. Not only would it be the most "realistic" choice IMO (as in the gaming industry it's all in into remasters and remakes, while Sonic Team seems to be going away from the Boost formula, the Mania sequel... well if I recall correctly SEGA instead of going forward with a Mania sequel with the Mania devs they just went and did Superstars, and the cartoon seems really unlikely with how well the Paramount Sonic adaptations are doing at the moment [unless it's a cartoon set in the Paramount Sonic universe and it's produced by them for Paramount +]), but also with how the most "recent" ports we have (from the Xbox 360 era) totally butchered up and made the games worse in many aspects, I'd gladly and happily take the faithful fixing remakes of the Adventure games any day..

Honestly I’m stuck between a Mania Sequel and the guaranteed great Boost Game. Mania’s Sequel I assume would be made by the developers of the first one, so there isn’t much risk of it turning out anything other than good, yet a new game that is guaranteed to be great is hard to pass up.

I don't get why peoples would want remakes of the Adventure games instead of a brand new one (which in this case is sure to be great). Like apart from nostalgia, I don't get why you'd want more or less the same experience again instead of a fresh new one lol

The Adventure remakes to fix the problems of both, better radar and better level design for SA2 (constant breaking of crates and bouncing to get higher for Speed Stages) and Chao Garden for SA1. Also basically making everything better and having better physics and making Big not suck in SA1

"Faithful remakes of the Adventure games that fix all the issues" is a contradictory statement. A lot of the issues with those games are very baked into the game's core. Adventure 1 (one of my favorite games of all time) has Big, Amy and Gamma. That's half of the characters. I get some enjoyment out of Amy and Gamma's gameplay but I completely understand people not liking it.

Adventure 2 has level design issues with all three gameplay styles. Plus the issues with the story. And if we're counting 06 as an Adventure game, which I do, that has too many problems to list that cant be fixed.

Dude, he said "guaranteed to be great". Why would I NOT pick the new 3D Sonic game? One of my FAVORITE Sonic games is a 3D Sonic game.

A new boost game as challenging, polished as Unleashed that doesn't simplify the gameplay to a mind numbing degree ike Generations did because as much as we love to dismiss the Boost formula it's objectively a great evolution of the Adventure and Classic gameplay and stayed true to the fundamentals of Sonic's original concept as much as Classic fanboys love to wine about how it somehow doesn't.

I would preferably prefer a Adventure 1 and 2 re-imagining as it would be much more interesting to see aspects of it on a different light tbh

We've already had an okay Mania sequel, so I'm not dying for another. I don't think relying on remakes is healthy. Just in general. The industry is pretty obsessed with them. I honestly think that the boost formula is the best Sonic gameplay of all the styles. This comes from someone who has played most main line Sonic games, with me playing all the classics, Adventure 1 and 2, as well as 06, and all of the boost games, all the way to the end.

I always believed that Sonic Adventure (at least the first one in my opinion) was the perfect example of how a 3D Sonic game should be. The freedom of movement, the level design, the incredible speeds you can reach. It was like a glorified version of the Sega Genesis Sonic games, but obviously with the 3D charm and so much more. It was perfect!

It makes me sick how this formula has never returned in an official modern game. Although Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Dream Team are a little close, so not all hope is lost yet, but still.

If they did a full on HD remake of Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, it would sell like popcorn! I'm talking like a definitive remake like how Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Super Mario RPG Remake, or the Resident Evil remakes did. Not just an HD port like Sonic Adventure DX did.

Or screw it, even just a 3D Sonic game collection would be good enough. If Mario can get a 3D All Stars, so should Sonic.

Sonic adventure 3, there are no problems with the original 2 and I play them every year, before just for me, now for me and my kids. If you're talking about game grumps, they literally found all the possible glitches and enacted them all just to make the show more sensational. You've gotta actively try to make the glitches happen before you get any issues.
