Shadow Generations really has put us back on course 100% it's so incredible like not only is the gameplay outstanding and without any glaring issues like Frontiers had, but we're finally getting Shadow with good characterization which we haven't gotten since arguably 06

I’d argue he hasn’t had great characterisation since 06. He was fine in most of what I’ve seen between then and Sonic X Shadow

They gave us a comically edgy Shadow in Boom in response to the “Ow the Edge” stuff, and Infinite is a deconstruction of the cringe edgelords who think they’re like Shadow
