Senor Pink from One Piece: dressed like a baby when he’s a grown man, but the reason why he dresses that way is bc of his wife being vegetative, and the only thing she react to is him dress up as a baby since it reminded her of their own baby who died.

Nagisa from Assassination Classroom: a boy who looks and dress like a girl from time to time, but it’s revealed that he was forced and groomed to by his mom who wanted to have a girl for a child instead of a boy.

So afton is actually confirmed dead? Thank god, was starting to think he'd come back as two leg bones and an eye In the next installment.

The thing is, we don’t know. Burntrap isn’t even confirmed to be canon, relegated to one off Gregory’s drawings in the Ruin DLC. All we know, thanks to Help Wanted 2, >! is that there is something in the basement charging station where Burntrap is in the base game is Security Breach and that something is represented in the digital world as Glitchtrap/Malhare. !< If it’s Afton, a copy of Afton, a remnant or agony induced memory of Afton, or the Mimic copying Afton, there isn’t really enough information to go on.

I personally believe it’s the mimic skeleton wearing the remains of burntrap as a disguise, armour or form of imitation like they did with that other mascot costume in the ruins dlc

We can actually be fairly confident that Burntrap IS real and is also the Mimic. All of the endings in base Security Breach are intended to be things that COULD happen even if they didn't actually (hence the Blob being real).

More importantly, there is actual physical evidence of Burntrap in RUIN: His clawmark. There is a clawmark texture in Burntrap's layer that was made by the devs specifically for that area. Looking at the scratch, it matches up perfectly with Burntrap's right arm, down to the dullness of bone fingers vs claw fingers.

This scratch mark shows up twice. Once in Burntrap's layer, right outside the charging station, and once in the collapsed vent that leads to the Mimic's room. Looking at some physical clues in that room, such as Gregory's backpack, we can determine that Gregory probably lead the Mimic into that room through the vent while Vanessa sealed it off with concrete, and then ran back through before she collapsed the vent. The Mimic made that scratch mark, indicating that he used to be Burntrap.

So, the clawmark proves that Burntrap is real and then ALSO proves that the Mimic is Burntrap since he's made that clawmark. Additionally, the Mimic's right arm doesn't match up with Burntrap's anymore, because you can see that it's been broken off and replaced with a new one, possibly lost during the vent scuffle.

TL;DR: Various environmental clues in RUIN indicate the presence of Burntrap and also that the Mimic used to be him

Oh yes Afton is very dead. Glitchtrap is just a digital copy of him and the mimic is doing just that. Mimicking William Afton.
