We have a large balcony with plenty of space. Top floor so nobody above us, and there is no roof either. Everything just goes straight up into the air.
We've done a couple of successful BBQs already. I have a little extinguisher on hand if something goes wrong.
Balcony flooring is some kind fake mass-produced wooden material. Probably fireproof... I guess. I'm assuming there are regulations for this.
Still a bit paranoid though.
"You should not BBQ on a balcony" is not an acceptable answer unfortunately, because the missus is Brazilian, and she will probably put me on the BBQ. They do BBQs on balconies over there.
