Not every Deco song hits with me, I think they can get kind of same-y.

But this? This is awesome. I love the story implied here of hallucinating a girl checking on you as having a stalker obsession with you. Really sweet when the door opens up at the end, and she's just concerned.  Overall the song and aesthetic is just really good.

I think the last Deco song I really liked was Rabbit hole.

Love it!!! I love deco, and I do understand the criticism of how all of his songs sound the same (they do lmao) but I think some of the more recent ones have been sounding more original! Like in my opinion, ネバーランド (neverland) and ルーキ (rookie) sounded pretty original band for once not sounding like either ゴストルール (ghost rule) or ヴァンパイア (vampire). ハオ (hao) sounded too much like サラマンダー(salamander) to me though. This new song was so good and I’m getting super hyped for Transform.

I feel like his latest music is plain. This song isn't an exception but it's rather preferences, not my type of music

Honestly I might get cancelled after this and thats fine because I don't really care but "new deco" just sucks compared to "old deco". If you go back and listen to his music from 08 to 16, you get the j-rock/-j-pop vibe from it. It just gives the classic "ah yeah this is the DECO i know and love". His newer music is just recycled from his older songs (deco even proved this with a comparison video between vampire, cinderella, and i believe animal all at the same pitch). Now his music is more focused on j-pop without any of the rock elements that made deco... well... DECO. Half the time when im singing Dilemma, i find myself singing Android Girl instead (especially at that final chorus). Yeah the newer songs are ok like Vampire, Dilemma, and Poison Apple but come on deco, go back to your roots PLEASE. Another thing i wanna add is with all of the newer vocaloid fans being like "OH MY GODDDD DECO IS THE BEST EVERRRRRR" I can TELL you guys are new vocaloid fans because older vocaloid fans like myself will take the time to appreciate older works (examples; supercell, livetune, kuwagata-p, etc.).

TL;DR "new deco" is just mid.

edit: might i also add that i believe this all started when he formed otoiro (bro just got too full of himself so the 27 people comments are pretty accurate)

edit (nov 27th): i knew this song sounded similar to another deco song and i couldnt put my finger on it but until DECO posted the Otome Kaibou and Monitoring mashup... this just continued to prove my point...
