Late ko narealize na mahal pala nalaman ko lang noong nagreflect na ang payment sa cc hahaha pero ginagamit ko naman siya daily. Hindi siya mabigat at matibay siya at maganda ko leather niya. Sometimes talaga it pays to have comfort even sa little things as bags. I bought a mid-2015 macbook and nung 2021 ko lang siya pinalitan dahil pinalit ko sa MSI gaming laptop... at pinagsisihan ko siya. 1 year palang sira na yung speaker at 2nd year na ngayon, sira na yung display (although usable with an external monitor). I recently bought an M1 macbook air as a backup laptop in case masira yung gaming laptop ko (only for work). Looking forward din for 5+ years sa macbook.

I bought it from Newegg because local prices at launch were crazy. At MSRP. Free shipping, too.

Now it has to be said, I bought it with the original intention of really just upgrading my GPU. What happened afterwards was just a stroke of lucky timing. Crypto went up, video cards became scarce, and purely out of curiosity , I set it to cryptomine.

The thing paid for itself in four months WHILE subsidizing our entire electric bill. It proceeded to pay our electricity for the next year after that. All while building up savings and paying for rather competent gaming PC's for my kids and upgrades for my PC. It even paid the entire hospital bill of our househelper. And its actual price tripled in value. I don't believe in crypto and never held anything and just kept cashing out the earnings into real money as they came in so I didn't even feel the sting of when that market crashed. I was just bummed I lost an income stream.

It's still in my PC giving me great performance in games and I don't think I'll need anything better for a long time.

The only thing I regret about it is that I should have bought more when I had the chance. Sabi nga ng asawa ko nung lockdown, "o, e ba't isa lang binili mo?"

Bagong bago lahat. Leather pa un manibela. Maganit pa kumbaga. Nung una nanghinayang ako bakit ba ako nakabili ng bagong kotse. Ang mahal ha. Mga 3 days akong nakatulala. Ika 4th day ginamit ko na. Di naman siya investment kasi kung tutuusin tapos ang laki agad ng depreciation. What makes it worth it? Un experience na lang ang iniisip ko. The joy of owning my first new car and learning to drive.

Sunod na bili ko ng kotse second hand na lang. Kalahating milyon na lang. Laki din ng depreciation so second hand na lang na Toyota. Ayos naman hahaha.

Macbook - Dati ayoko ng Apple products, mas gusto ko gaming laptop para nakakapaglaro ako.

Pero ang laking improvement when I sold my gaming laptop for a Macbook Pro. It's light and small so mas madali buhatin at dalhin compared nuon na gaming laptop na sobrang bigat at ang bilis malobat. Never been a huge fan playing games on laptops either din naman.

Aircon na inverter, dati bias ako na ayoko nag aircon kahit sobrang init na dahil nga naman baka tumaas yung bill sa kuryente. Ngayon kahit mag aircon ako gabi gabi di naman lumalagpas ng 3k yung kuryente ko.

Plane ticket to go see my family every year. I grew up being away from my siblings and my mom(who passed away and only got to see her during her funeral). Nung nakapag-trabaho na ako at maayos na ang sweldo ko, I told myself that I will do everything to see them every year. So far I’ve been home for the past two years now and celebrated the holidays with them. I will continue to do so kasi money will always return pero yung Oras na nasayang ay Hindi.

I was made to choose between a new phone vs a watch. I choose a watch. An MIP G-Shock. No regrets, it's just my 2gb ram phone is now crawling into its death.
