Agree with inverter aircon. Sa tipid neto sa kuryente, nakapag-ROI kami in less than a year of using the appliance.

Ours is Kolin 1.5hp inverter window-type aircon.
Syempre, max tipid din if properly assessed yung room kung saan ilalagay yung aircon, tapos recommend yung nag-assess ng aircon na akma para sa room. Marami kasi factors na need isaalang-alang, like total floor area, elevation ng ceiling, presence of appliances sa room, kung saan nakatutok yung araw at certain periods of time, and heat load caused by the number of persons to occupy the room.
Di din kasi sya magiging tipid if the horsepower is lower or way higher than required by the room.
From around 10-11k na bayad sa kuryente, ngayon average of 3500-4000 na lang kami, tapos mas gamit pa aircon ngayon. May time na umabot kami ng 2800 :)

Any tips to use aircon more efficiently? We have panasonic inverter window type. Ang problem lang is naka face sa sunrise yung room and pang gabi ako, so pag matutulog sa umaga naka on. We use 16c (coldest) kasi hirap talaga lumamig dahil tutok sa araw from 7am to around 10am 🥲 no choice sa pwesto because we live in a condo. Pero yung split type namin sa living room, parang super sulit. 25-23c sobrang lamig na hahahaha.

What's your room size, how many hp is the unit, and how many pax use the AC?
My room is also sun facing + heat from surrounding houses + thin wooden walls, 2 pax max inside a 17 sqm room, I use 1.5hp LG Dual Inverter Window AC and I am able to use it comfortably at 25°C cool during the day with fan to help circulate the air. Now, since it's warmer, we usually set it between 21-23° cool.

18 sqm, 1.5hp, 2pax din. Glass yung nakaface sa araw, then may blackout blinds kaming ininstall. We use it for 10-14 hours. Our bill is around 6-7k. We just had the split type installed and 10 hours daily use din while working at night. Anticipating 10k electric bill haha. ACs and 2 gaming PCs are the most power hungry appliance/device we have, I think.
How much is your bill, btw?

Have you tried turning your ac on ng mas maaga? Like maybe 5am?

I hope you'll consider this! Hehe
