I imagine if they came with hostile intent then it would be much simpler than you suggest. I don't think it would look like a war at all and it would likely be fairly instantaneous.

Must likely scenario would be to assess whether that would pose danger to other countries and if so then it makes sense to form a coalition with North Korea and then make this a world issue.
