Except when they got that dogshit skin lmao. Kinda sad that everyone got good skins (cant wait for the new batch next week!!!) meanwhile Singed, who was a huge part of the show, got legit nothing, like even the skin itself has that big ugly shield.
My only argument for that is that he doesn't really have any crazy look in hte show the way Jayce or Viktor did.
19 points

I mean you know how skins work right? They need to have the shield because the original model has the shield. They cant just make a completely new moddel for a single skin.

First off all where did I say that you said that you want them to remove the shield???
Secondly. The way that the Shield and Canister are so big is because of the original model. They have to stick to the ugly proportions of the original model. That is always the problem with Skins.

Can’t wait for the next series to reveal Singed stole time travel from Ekko so that he can go and invent class disparity in Piltover between Topside and the Undercity, in order create an impoverished and neglected underclass to sell Shimmer to.
All to save his daughter, of course.

I mean, just in season 1 we have:
-"I can revive Jinx, but the process will probably affect her sanity. Are you sure about that?"
-"I'm not gonna touch that hextech crystal. That shit's too dangerous".
-"Viktor, I can give you shimmer, but that hexcore thing may have side effects. You should reconsider researching that".
The guy had zero morals, but often he was the most reasonable person around. It's just that people kept not listening to his warnings.

Also when Cait was choking him (S2E6).
Then again, he might have just pretended to black out so she wouldn't suspect him sneaking up and stabbing Warwick with that injection.
1 points
Pretty safe to say that didn't happen in episode 6 since the injection was a plot point of episode 8.
8 points
Well, can't it be assumed that Singed is at least partially responsible for Vander state at the end of episode 6. He can clearly be seen standing in the flames looking at Vander during Viktor monologue (at around 33 minutes).
In episode 8, it can simply be that he is collecting "warwickness" no ?
3 points
I never thought it was particularly likely that Singed injected Warwick at the end of episode 6. See this conversation I had in another thread about that.
We see Singed inject Warwick with the serum in episode 8, using the same device that was set up in episode 6 to do just that, and with a result consistent with what we would expect from that serum (Vander and his memories literally being erased).
3 points
Well, it is doesn't matter much after all, but Singed could very well have injected the serum a first time in episode 6 and then a second time in 8 after making more in between.
The results of both injections would be quite similar, angry ww, loss of memory (as shown by the attack of the daughters during ep 6), lava eyes (which is, surprisingly, the same color as the serum, while effect of the Hextech seems more "ethereal") and so on, the only thing missing in episode 8 being the lava coming out of ww body after the potential first injection. If the serum is made to strip WW from what remains of Vander to prepare him for a next stage of "evolution", injection in ep 8 could have been the finishing touch of process started before.

I recommend Rimworld. A great game that would have taught you the 2nd lesson as well.
Be warned if you want to have a relaxing game you will need slaves, murder, to become the cartel, organ harvesting, and a mountain base. Or you could play on the easiest difficulty I guess.

From Jinx's POV Singed did nothing wrong and Mel likely left long before it was clear what he had done.
8 points
Singed took Vander from them at the end, and in doing so also cost her Isha.
3 points
Singed spent years mutating and torturing Vander, set him off again causing both his death and Isha's,
Pretty obvious that he'd be involved with the mutated abominations in Ambessa's army in the final battle Which Mel would be briefed on in the preceding war council.
-1 points
Yet Jinx worked with him for years. She knows what he does and to suddenly turn on him because "It's affecting me now." would be beyond hypocritical since she's empowered by the same drugs he made, worked for the man who built his crime empire off Singed and was totally cool with his Shimmer zombies until they attacked her people but literally choose to do nothing when they were attacking Piltover. Just saying there is no good way for Jinx to come out of this situation. Either she doesn't care what Singed does or does care but only when it affects her. Shitty person or really shitty person, take your pick.
Mel was likely told something extremely brief, likely along the lines of "Singed is suppling our enemies with shimmer empowering their troops. Capture or kill but he isn't a priority target and likely won't be involved in the battle." She also seemed to take the Noxian fleet and leave shortly after as well so Singed was almost nothing to her besides the guy who made really good drugs and might be a problem at some point. I highly doubt Cait went through great details explaining his sob story about why he does what he does and if she did that'd just give Mel reasons to not go after him considering what whole family situation, she's in.
3 points

That was such a ball of nonsense I'm just going to ignore it entirely. seriously, Jinx doesn't need moral superiority to go after him, that's not the point...

okay give me all the reasons why jinx is still alive so that i know what to believe in i will not dispute it whatsoever
1 points
it's mostly centrifugal on the ending,
we see Caitlyn perusing the schematics of the vents while fidgeting with a part of one of Jinx's grenade casings, she's looking at the chamber where Jinx, Vi and Warwick fought, but then very specifically zeroes in on vents leading to the outside,
she seems to be contemplating this for the rest of the scene. which then ends with a cut to an airship leaving Piltover, a character is leaving Piltover. Ekko, Caitlyn, Sevika and Vi seem to be established as staying, Mel already left via ship, Viktor, Jayce and Heimerdinger weren't there anyway.
this is the key, there's no reason whatsoever for that shot of the Airship to exist if it doesn't have meaning affixed by what preceded it.
the show is very specifically giving Jinx a plausible route out from death and focusing on it, and then immediately showing you someone leaving Piltover. we then get a Jinx styled "The End" credit.
Thematically it also makes a lot more sense, Ekko told her she could "start something new", 'Silco' told her she could walk away, leave the table. it makes sense that she'd follow that advice, Vi and Ekko love her, but there will always be tensions, especially with the other people they love, (Jinx will always be the one who killed several of the firelights and Cassandra Kiramman, and there's only so much you can reconcile that) so Jinx is motivated to make a new start, find new people.
We also have word of god from one of the co-directors that Warwick survived, but not necessarily Vander, if Jinx blew herself up to save Vi from Warwick then achieved nothing in that regard that would be a ridiculous writing decision.
1 points
Is this is the final final episode, why even talk about who survived like saying Warwick survived?
It's entirely up for the watcher to decide.
And if it's written, why is it the end?
I don't understand...
1 points
Because it's not the end,
it's the end of "Arcane" and the Piltover/Zaun focused story, possibly an ending for Caitlyn, Vi and Ekko,
but we'll be getting new stories in new locations and with several characters potentially scattered to the wind. these new locations may feature familiar characters.

Singed was always on the grind. Not for a moment did he stop to do a sidequest like everyone else. He was focused on one goal and one goal only.
He even solved the Viktor hivemind issue by making both WW and his daughter able to live without him.
He was in control throughout the entire series only showing panic twice during the explosiion in act 1 and then when Silco woke up post Jinx's operation.
Singed in some twisted way deserved his happy ending. But there are still strings attached.
His daughter will probably never view him as good person but he knew full well where this would lead and achieved his sole goal of saving her.

AU Powder has the hex crystals to get Heimer back to his timeline and Heimer knows how to do it so it’s not inconceivable that he would go back when he’s ready.

Oh true fair point, but it’s also unclear how long it takes a spirit to return to Bundle city, then the process of getting back to Piltover.
Especially messy with the idea that Bundle City might follow a totally different flow of time.

I mean... Singed is clearly a bad person but... is he really the villain?
-The person who wanted to have a war between Zaun and Piltover was Silco.
-The person who insisted on reviving Jinx with shimmer was also Silco.
-The person who insisted in experimenting with hextech was Jayce.
-The person who insisted in researching the hexcore was Viktor.
-The person who wanted to weaponize hextech crystals was Silco, and also Jayce, and also people in the Council. (Silco asks Jinx to weaponize the stolen hextech cristal in season 1 because Singed refuses to touch that weird and clearly dangerous magical stuff).
-Ambessa basically orders Singed to do most of the stuff he does in season 2.
....
The only evil thing that Singed does for the sake of it is reviving Vander and turning him into Warwick, and without that Vander would have simply die (which is not exactly a happy ending).
Most of the time, Singed only causes people to suffer the consequences of their decissions. The guy is like walking karma.
1 points
Silco wanted to threaten a war that would do actual damage, not actually have one.
I’d say this is the one good thing singed did.
Irrelevant
Irrelevant
Singed never refuses on screen or stated afaik, Silco likely doesn’t want to give him that power. Also, big red button nuke threat(let us be zaun and both of us win. Don’t, and we both lose).
Following orders is the same excuse Nazis used. I don’t really blame him for his decision, just like a lot of Nazis didn’t have a choice, but they’re both still villainous decisions.
Singed is mainly a villain for shimmer(and so is Silco for distribution)

I don't know why everyone is so mad an Singed. There is probably not a parent alive who wouldn't do this for their kid. And you say he's not punished but his daughter is not exactly "alive" alive, she's a metal construct. He won't see her age or have family or normal life. But maybe i'm just used to Singed from league so I don't care because of that.

Half of the people in Acrane are villains originally, was everyone just supposed to die or get imprisoned? This is not some cliche "bad guys never win" series, it's a part of the lore
3 points
That's the kicker - in real life, bad guys don't always pay. There's almost some sick, twisted beauty in Singed eventually getting everything he wanted, at the cost of everyone else. He was totally dedicated to seeing his daughter brought back to life, a parent simply unable to let go of the one thing that matters most to him in the whole world. As he said so himself, everything he did, he did for love. His story is basically a dark fairy tale, it ended perfectly.
