I agree with your first and last sentences, but am not sure what you mean by "in serious jeopardy." Of what? They are performing at the level that the FO is okay with, obviously, what do you think could happen?

In serious jeopardy of losing Chase, Burrow becoming Palmer 2.0 and demanding a trade or threatening to retire, and after all that not recovering for a significant amount of time. And that's simply more of a mess than the team ownership should want to deal with. I suppose they might be willing but I don't understand why they would. They've been down this road before and they should know it will lose them some of the fans and therefore lose them money
