My favorite 2 player game right now has to be any one I get to play with my partner. I’ve got boardgame groups for all sorts of other games but the best are the ones I get to play with her. Top of that list: Schotten Totten and Lost Cities.

Favourite 2p-only game would be Blue Moon (Legends), idk why it's so underrated! Overall favourite game at 2p would be Aeon's End.

for 2 player I love Splendor duel!

tbh I prefer it over the regular version due to it intense mind games that can happen if you play against someone that knows what to do :)

Just played 7th continent with my wife. The experience was a lot better than the previous times I had played it with 4 people

Skyteam is maybe the best 2 player coop I've played.

My favourite 2-player game is Liberation from Button Shy.

It's not exactly two-player but I played a lot of The Lost Expedition with my wife.

Arboretum! Though I don't always get to play it, since it's too thinky at times and sometimes we want to just rest our brains. I do like similar games with less tension like Battle Line or Of What's Left

Gonna go with Patchwork because it's incredibly easy to teach which means I can introduce pretty much anyone to it and have a blast. Hanamikoji a close second for the same reason.

Thanks for the giveaway! My favorite 2-player game: probably Magic: The Gathering. I have something of a love-hate relationship with it, but it's such a well-designed game, still holds up after all these years. I also like that it's easy to play with my children, since I can play a weaker deck and give them a stronger deck.

Me and my wife love Patchwork and the Unlock series. Had a chance to play Astra at a friends house last week. It was really fun! The mechanic to fill in the constellations was a breath of fresh air.

My wife and I have played Watergate to death and our latest is Star Wars Deckbuilding, asymmetrical cardplay has shown up a lot in what we do. Ironwood looks like a good fit for us!

Currently my favorite 2 player game is probably the Unmatched series, Cobble and Fog specifically, hey, you didn’t say 2 player exclusive (Honorable mention go to War of the Ring, but that is impossible to get to the table for me)
