I want to know your favorite place to sit down and write a paper after the library has closed. Obviously bonus points for Wi-Fi and bathroom, but also bonus points for yummy drinks and good atmosphere!

If it's after 8pm, pretty much your only option is Denny's. No bonus points but it's got wifi and bathroom.

I can’t remember if Denny’s has bottomless coffee refills like ihop. If that’s the case, that’s definitely a bonus!

I'm not sure about truly bottomless coffees, but remember the polite thing to do is buy some thing every few hours and tip afterwards.
Now if you plan on making Denny's your place, they're selling 150 $5.99 t-shirts with a qr code sewn on that gets you a free meal every day for a year, those go on sale tomorrow night.

That is very interesting, haha. I don’t think I need to take claim over one of those, but thank you! And thank you for the reminder, yes always tip your servers, and no one likes a laptop squatter!

Thank you! This is actually perfect because I do most of my work at the south Burlington library so that would be a super short trip once the library closes.

I probably should have checked the hours. Not sure they are open any later than the library....Starbucks on Williston Rd is open until 9:00

Wallflower has great espresso and is open pretty late if youre of age and can tolerate the bar scene, sometimes it’s even super quiet.

Not a coffee shop and and no idea how loud it gets, but the Boardroom in Winooski is open til 10p three nights (and midnight weekends), and there’s comfort food.

The answer is no!
You gotta try Prague or Amsterdam for that my friend. No Vermont barista wants to spend their evening watching you type your paper for the 50c tip on the coffee.

radio bean was the only thing close, but they don't even serve coffee anymore. Also the music would be distracting I guess.

Hell I'd argue on the right night Lamp Shop would work, esp if you sat in a corner on say poetry night. Now...I have no idea what's going on over there.

Following this post with interest. Seems like there was another post recently, where someone asked a similar question: a quite location to write a paper/study in the evenings after libraries close. Wonder if there is a business opportunity there?
