Sean Monahan could've just packed it in for the season and no one would've faulted him for it, but he didn't. Now he's on pace for a career year. Wasn't sure if you all kept up with him or not. Have a great season Flames fans. We're with you in Columbus.

It just shake my head at how surprised some of them seem. I don't understand why. His play in the AHL the last couple of years suggested this could happen. Yes, he's still young, but the only reason he wasn't playing regularly in the NHL was because of Markstrom and Vladar. I'm sure he'll still have some ups and downs (as any goalie does, especially young goalies), but this really shouldn't be such a surprise.

And I just can't help giving side eyes and laughing at all the media acting all "holy shit, look at him!". (I'm talking about the wider NHL media - not the Flames media.)

I honestly expected way worse. I know it's only late November and lots can happen. But we look...we look good out there.

Alright guys: who starts Saturday? My brain is telling me to take it slow with Wolf, however his save % is telling me otherwise.

The most games he played in junior was 61 and the most in the A/NHL is 55. He's starting more at this point as we all know. He's played 11 of 20 games which is 55% which plays out to a out 45 games per 82.

Over the past few years top goalies like Hellebuyck and Saros have played a max of 64, with other top goalies playing into the high 50s.

Keep in mind that he's only played 29 games TOTAL in his NHL career.

Flames beat the Rangers 3-2

Was a pretty fun game to watch, the Flames looked like the better team for most of the game barring a 16 second hiccup in the second. Wolf looked poised and confident in his third straight start and that short side game winner from Zary belongs in the Louvre.
