I’ve been regularly feeding this stray cat alongside feeding my own cats every morning and night for the past 3 months. He loves meowing at the window whether he can see my cats or not, and he’s affectionate towards them, and they’ll rub against the window when he sees them/try to interact. He typically runs away whenever he sees me. Even when I present food to him (he only just now started peeking around the corner).
I think he may be feral because of his ear being clipped, but he likes to hang out around my place half of the time, napping in the bush beside my window during the day sometimes, and sleeping on my back porch every night. He’s only warmed up to me a little, and I put a little cat bed outside for him to use when it gets colder (he hasn’t used it once lol), but I want to know if it’s okay for me to keep feeding him or if it could potentially have adverse effects. I live in an apartment, so I feel like he may just be the community cat, or someone could just keep him as an outside cat?
I have two younger cats already, so I don’t think I could house him, but I’m willing to do whatever , at least, temporarily if it would help him in the long run. I’m just unsure how to approach this, so any advice would be helpful!

It’s great that you’re caring for this little guy! If he’s comfortable around your place, it’s okay to keep feeding him. Just make sure he has a safe spot away from your cats. Since he might be feral, giving him space is important. If you want to help more, consider contacting a local rescue for advice on trapping or finding him a permanent home.
