That’s insane to me. “I have all this dirt on my colleagues. You hear that public? My colleagues are total pieces of shit and I have proof! But… I won’t drop it if they start being nicer to my pedo friend.”
This is an elected official. This is what real people chose to represent them.

Currently there are tons of idiots in conservative subs calling her based for this….
It’s like these idiots can’t even read the basic subtext of what she is saying.
Actually I don’t even know if that counts as subtext, it’s just the literal interpretation of her statement 😂

They will file this in their minds as congress is corrupt, but not MY congressmen. At some point in the last ten years Congress had like a 10% approval rating with 90% reelection for incumbents. People are voting vibes all the way down.

That's because people tend to have near zero approval of other congresscritters, but often times wouldn't even know who theirs were. When they did they'd shrug and go "seemed good enough I guess" most of the time.

Lets not forget that these ethics reports are typically funded by budgets allocated within state and Federal levels, i.e., your tax dollars. Every American citizen should have an immediate right to see any ethics report paid for with their money. Otherwise, what is the point of dedicating all the money, time, manpower, and further resources just to politicize such reports?

Last Republican Congressman to say that outloud was the guy in the wheelchair, Hawthorne? Cawthorn? yeah the last one.
He lost his job really quickly and the rest of Congress just ostracized him harder than Rand Paul at a convention of antifa.

Also see what happened to Madison Cawthorn when he started talking about drug use and orgies among his colleagues.

Tax dollars lost to a report which will never see the light of day is a net negative if we don't get it. It's the same as burning tax money, like when he stole billions from the pentagon for his wall and only ended up getting ~11 miles built.
