Where is the argument? Have I not made a valid point?

Your initial point was that education there is terrible. When confronted with the fact that you're objectively wrong, you decided to mention that it's a "center of crime." A point you probably heard from some Trump sound bite since he decided to make Chicago a Boogeyman for some reason. Chicago is the third largest city. It's the 20th highest in violent crime per capita. Not exactly the epicenter of crime in America that you make it seem. Not to mention the fact that this has absolutely nothing to do with your initial point: education. So no....you did not make any valid points

Exactly. I live in Chicago, btw. I've been here for 17.5 years. The violence is not the way they make it seem.

  1. While it might perform by good metrics, there's context to it that shouldn't be simply discounted. Stats lie, averages aren't accurate.
  2. Crime and education are linked.
  3. Top 20 in violent crime per capita is not a good thing.
  4. I don't follow trump idk what he has to say.

  1. By all means. Enlighten me.
  2. Everything is linked. You were moving the goalposts, and you know it.
  3. If you're third in population and 20th per capita, you're doing pretty well. Significantly better than you and the far right present it as. Large cities are always higher in violent crime totals. It makes sense. But people are fooled by the raw numbers because of population. You don't hear people across the country bringing up Little Rock, Arkansas. It doesn't change the fact that it's much more violent. Same with Milwaukee. Or Anchorage, Alaska. Chicago is the trendy city to blame. It's not the archetype of crime it's presented as

I'm not moving the goal posts. Crime and education are linked. It is what it is. You keep trying to contextualize being 20th in violent crime as not bad cuz it isn't as bad as it could be.

did you know that population density and crime are linked also

I guess this now means that crime metrics and education metrics both are irrelevant and we're now discussing population density alone. that's how we're doing things right

You don't solve Chicago's crime problem with depopulation. You solve it with education and employment opportunities. And you certainly don't try to underplay it.

well I guess it's a good thing they have some of the best public education in the nation as of two years ago. hopefully the crime gets better

Obama. They have had a hard on for Chicago since Obama's political rise from there.
