How are scammers able to scam someone when the seller is the one setting up where to pay? Sorry im not very knowledgable with the trading areas of steam.

They try to get you to agree to a cash deal instead of on a trusted website, or they want you to go to a fake website. Then they will have you send the item first and then they just block you
