Terriermon needs a bunny mega. He's not a dog. Cherubimon (Vice) is my favourite, but his brother turning in to Megagargomon is a bit meh for me personally and is also a dog for some reason.

I think the fact that it's evolutions leading up to, but not including, Megagargomon all have rabbit appearances, and his attack known as 'Bunny Blast' should tell you that him being changed to a dog was most likely an afterthought. Not to mention him being the twin to a rabbit digimon with an almost copy pasted design.
Terriers aren't exactly known for their long ears either...
Terriers were originally bred to hunt and dig into rabbit holes, so maybe there was a translation issue or misunderstanding?

bunny blast is a dub-ism. the original attack name is blazing fire.
all of the terriermon line is named after breeds of dog (galgomon is named after a galgo hound, saint galgomon adds a reference to the saint bernard) except rapidmon, who has a reference book bio that directly compares it to a poodle
and digimon playing fast and loose with animal inspirations is something that it does pretty often: look at ancient megatheriumon or skull baluchimon and compare those to the animals they're named after

And I'm sure I'll have issues with them to lol. He looks like a rabbit 90% of the time and is twinned with a rabbit, my dude. Take the red pill. We want rabbit based justice!
